KUALA TERENGGANU, December 1 – A viral video shared on social media earlier this morning showed a 4×4 vehicle driving through a collapsed section of the Kenyir-Aring road, located near Kuala Berang, Terengganu.
The road connecting Kuala Berang to Felda Aring in Kelantan had previously been closed to all traffic due to a land subsidence and a 400-meter-long landslide caused by continuous heavy rainfall. The incident has exposed the area to safety risks, with local authorities advising the public to avoid using the affected route.
The video, which was shared on social media, attracted the attention of netizens who expressed concern over the driver’s decision to pass through the unsafe area.
Local authorities are currently carrying out restoration and further inspections to ensure the safety of road users.
