NILAI – Political analyst Dato’ G Kumaar Amaan has praised the proactive steps taken by the Negeri Sembilan Government, led by YB Arul Kumar, in conducting a joint operation in Taman Semarak and Taman Desaria to inspect businesses run by foreign nationals. He emphasized that this initiative is crucial for ensuring fairness in business licensing and preventing unlawful activities.
“This is a very appropriate action and deserves attention. It will have a positive impact on the economy of Negeri Sembilan while ensuring that every business operating complies with the regulations in place,” said Dato’ G Kumaar Amaan.
However, he also expressed hope that the second round of inspections will focus more on checking businesses selling alcoholic beverages and illegal vape products in the Nilai area. He called for YB Arul Kumar, as the elected representative, to prioritize these issues in the ongoing effort to curb the growing social problems.
“This is a good first step, but the second round needs to focus more on businesses selling alcohol and illegal vape products, which are significant issues within the community. I hope YB Arul Kumar will continue to monitor and take firm action against these problems,” Dato’ G Kumaar added.
He also urged all Members of Parliament across the country to follow YB Arul Kumar’s example by going out into the field and inspecting businesses in their respective areas.
“This is the responsibility of every elected representative. They should be more proactive and take action to ensure that businesses in their areas are operating in compliance with the law and not harming the community,” said Dato’ G Kumaar.
