Must Read

KUALA LUMPUR – The National Police Chief, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, extended assistance to a motorcyclist involved in an accident on the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway earlier this morning.

The incident occurred at 7:37 AM while Razarudin was en route from his residence to Bukit Aman for the Monthly Assembly. By coincidence, his vehicle was just a few meters behind the accident.

CCTV footage from the highway showed Razarudin and his officers helping the victim, while also managing the traffic flow. One of the police officers was seen assisting the victim off the road while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of Kuala Lumpur, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa, stated that investigations revealed the accident involved a Honda Civic car driven in the right lane, which collided with the motorcyclist.

“The collision caused the 56-year-old motorcyclist to lose control and crash into the rear of a Mazda CX-3 vehicle. The incident occurred along the convoy route of the National Police Chief’s vehicle before he alighted from his vehicle and offered immediate assistance,” he said.

The motorcyclist was reported to have suffered injuries to his left ankle and right hand. He was taken to the Tuanku Chancellor Hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), for further treatment.

Both drivers of the cars involved have also filed reports.
