Following a direct meeting with the Prime Minister to discuss infrastructure enhancements and financial aid, the long-awaited allocation has now been approved. The announcement was further reinforced by the Prime Minister’s personal visit to Batu Caves, highlighting the government’s commitment to preserving this iconic religious and tourist landmark.

As one of the world’s most significant Murugan temples, Batu Caves draws over 1.5 million devotees during Thaipusam. With this crucial funding, necessary renovations and facility upgrades can now move forward, ensuring a better experience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
