Reggie, a Golden Retriever, is a real charmer with his bright eyes and constantly wagging tail. When he gazes at you, don’t be surprised if your heart melts and you find yourself reaching out to give him a bear hug.
From Puppy to Companion
Reggie was born on March 7, 2020, during the pandemic, and has spent most of his puppy life among humans. His furmum, Nadia Hasbi, remembers the day he came home as a tiny puppy in a box. "My husband collected the box, and then, a puppy’s head popped out. We just melted," she recalled fondly.
The Inspiration Behind His Name
Reggie’s name is inspired by Reginald "Reggie" Mantle, a character from Archie Comics. Nadia, a full-time content creator, loves to travel and enjoys making beautiful memories with Reggie on their many trips together.
Beach Bum and Social Media Star
Reggie especially loves spending time at the beach, and Nadia documents their adventures on social media. She has also launched an e-book, "The Ultimate Dog-Friendly Travel Guide to Malaysia."
A Gentle Soul with a Wild Side
Reggie is a gentle and patient soul, remaining calm and collected even when faced with hyper dogs or cats. However, he has a wild side when it comes to chasing cats, unless they are familiar felines. Fun fact: Reggie was once afraid of cats, but he has clearly overcome that phobia!
A Ball of Energy and Joy
Reggie is always up for a good time, whether it’s going on hikes, car rides, or playing fetch. He’s a natural-born people-pleaser, and his tail is always wagging whenever he sees new people.

When Reggie doesn’t get enough attention, he resorts to chewing on sticks and eating small rocks. It’s a unique way to regain the spotlight, but it’s a testament to his determination to get what he wants.

Reggie’s favorite treat is dog-friendly cake, but he’s not picky – he’s even eaten ants and caterpillars in the past! His favorite way to spend time is with his furmum, and he’s always by her side.
