Kuala Lumpur, March 3 (Bernama) – Connor Axel Liewkai and Wang Xin Yip, both from Kuala Lumpur, emerged as the overall champions in the SportExcel-NSC-MILO Malaysian Junior Premier Elite Golf Grand Finals, held over the weekend.

Overall Champions

Connor, playing off the Blue Tee at the Danau Golf Club, took the top spot in the boys’ category with a total score of 229, carding rounds of 72, 76, and 81 in the three-day competition.

Xin Yip, on the other hand, swept the girls’ overall title in the White Tee category, finishing with a total score of 232, consisting of rounds of 75, 75, and 82.

Competition Details

The competition featured 43 of the country’s best elite players who qualified for the grand finals based on their achievements throughout the SportExcel Junior Tour, held at various golf clubs in the country.
