Klang, March 26 – Klang Utara District Police Chief, ACP S. Vijaya Rao, has intensified efforts to combat crime by integrating multiple District Police Headquarters (IPD) in the Ops Cantas operation. Ottrangknews Chief Editor, Dato G Kumaar Aamaan, commended this initiative, calling it a strategic move to curb gang-related activities and organized crime.
> “This is a wise and strategic decision targeting gangs and criminal syndicates. With a more comprehensive operation and stricter movement control, we believe the crime rate can be significantly reduced.” – Dato G Kumaar Aamaan
He also urged the public to cooperate fully with law enforcement to ensure the success of this operation and strengthen national security.
Multiple District Police Join Forces to Block Criminal Movements
According to ACP S. Vijaya Rao, cross-district crime has been a major challenge for law enforcement. For instance, if an operation is conducted in Klang Utara, criminals may escape to Klang Selatan. Similarly, if action is taken in Klang Selatan, they could flee to Kuala Langat or northern areas.
To address this issue, multiple police districts have coordinated their efforts, setting up roadblocks and enhancing surveillance to restrict criminal movements.

Ops Cantas Targets Gangs and Organized Crime
In a related development, the Department of Gangsterism and Anti-Terrorism Investigations (JSGA) has launched Ops Cantas, specifically targeting individuals suspected of involvement in gang-related and organized crime activities.
The police have identified several key targets and will carry out arrests and documentation before taking further action.
Police Urge Public Cooperation in Reporting Crime
The authorities are calling on the public to provide any information that can help eliminate criminal activities and ensure community safety.
If you have information related to gang activities, corruption, abuse of power, or illegal moneylending (Ah Long), you can report it via email: ottrangk@gmail.com for further action.
