Dato G. Kumaar Aamaan Urges All Starbucks Outlets in Malaysia to Ensure No Consumer Deception as Shown in Viral Video

Kuala Lumpur, 13 April — Following a viral video on TikTok showing Starbucks cup sizes, where coffee poured from the small cup into the medium and large cups appeared to contain the same quantity, Dato G. Kumaar Aamaan, Chief Editor of Ottrangknews and consumer rights activist, has called on all Starbucks outlets across Malaysia to ensure that such practices do not occur in our country.

The video has sparked public concern over the transparency of beverage sizes offered. If the allegation is proven true, it may be considered a form of consumer deception.

“We urge Starbucks Malaysia to take immediate action to investigate the truth behind this matter and provide a clear explanation to consumers. If any elements of deception are found, reports should be promptly filed with the authorities,” stressed Dato G. Kumaar Aamaan.

He also extended his appreciation to the video creator for raising public awareness on this issue.
