JEMPOL, May 4, 2025 – In a spirited and determined atmosphere, Sr. R. Sri Sanjeevan, the candidate of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) for the Jeram Padang State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seat, promised not to give up and to ensure a major victory in the upcoming State Election. His speech was delivered confidently in front of more than 2000 loyal supporters at the official opening of the Bersatu Jeram Padang DUN Coordinator’s Office, which was also attended by the President of Bersatu, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, and the Chairman of Bersatu Negeri Sembilan, YB Tuan Muhammad Hanifah bin Abu Bakar.
“As we have proven in DUN Jeram Padang, victory is not just about numbers, but about the courage to fight for the people,” said Sri Sanjeevan firmly, met with resounding cheers from the crowd.
He continued, “With full enthusiasm, I promise Tan Sri Muhyiddin, who has given much inspiration and support in this struggle, that we will continue working tirelessly to ensure Jeram Padang remains in the hands of Perikatan Nasional. We will not let this opportunity slip away.”
Tan Sri Muhyiddin, who also spoke at the event, offered words of encouragement to the Bersatu election machinery in Negeri Sembilan. “We are here not just to do politics, but to bring meaningful change to the people. Jeram Padang is our battleground, and I am confident that with Sri Sanjeevan’s leadership, we will secure a victory here,” said Tan Sri Muhyiddin.
Furthermore, Sri Sanjeevan announced that the Bersatu Jeram Padang Office would operate with full commitment and would not just be a symbolic presence. “This office will function from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Every segment of society, regardless of race, can come to report their issues,” he said, emphasizing the importance of serving the people.
The event was also graced by the presence of the Chairman of Bersatu Negeri Sembilan, YB Tuan Muhammad Hanifah bin Abu Bakar, who offered strong support to Sri Sanjeevan and Perikatan Nasional’s struggle in Negeri Sembilan. “We will continue to fight together to ensure victory and change in Jeram Padang and Negeri Sembilan,” said YB Hanifah in his speech.
The ceremony ended with a symbolic pantun delivered by Sri Sanjeevan:
A bird perched on the sena tree,
Flying freely bringing news,
Perikatan Nasional stands strong together,
Jeram Padang is now our stronghold.
With the promise made in front of Tan Sri Muhyiddin, YB Hanifah, and 2000 loyal supporters, Sri Sanjeevan further solidified his resolve and confidence in his political struggle, not only for Jeram Padang but also to bring significant change to the state and the country.
