PETALING JAYA: Dato’ G Kumaar Aaman, the Chief Editor of Ottrangknews, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hilman Idham for his victory as the new Bersatu Youth Chief. Hilman, the Gombak Setia assemblyman, secured 1,888 votes, defeating the wing’s permanent chairman Akmal Zahin Zainal Zahir, who garnered 1,718 votes. He takes over the position from Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.
Dato’ Kumaar expressed confidence in Hilman’s leadership, highlighting that his win represents a step forward for the party’s youth wing. “Your dedication and leadership have been rightfully recognized. May this new responsibility bring positive changes and strengthen the future of Bersatu,” Dato’ Kumaar said.
The official results were announced by Bersatu’s election committee chairman Abdul Azim Zabidi, who also declared Faiz Rahman as the new deputy after he secured 1,790 votes, defeating Seberang Jaya assemblyman Izhar Shah Arif Shah and Adib Shaharuddin.
