PETALING JAYA: Heartsyy & Co has emerged as the Grand Champion of the 9th Dream Factory Startup Competition, Malaysia’s largest Chinese-language entrepreneurship platform.
This year’s grand finals, with the theme “Creating for Sustainability”, brought together the brightest entrepreneurial minds in the country, and was held on June 6 at Menara AFFIN, TRX, Kuala Lumpur.
Presenting the prize was Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade, and Mobility, who said the competition highlighted the kind of “bold thinking and action” the government needed from its entrepreneurs.
This year’s competition saw 678 entrepreneurs registering. Out of 95 successfully launched projects, 43 semi-finalists were shortlisted, and 22 exceptional teams advanced to the grand finals to compete for top honours.
Heartsyy & Co, with its mission “Beyond Ordinary – Defining Your Gifts with Artistic Inspiration”, captured the judges’ imagination for its innovation, business feasibility, and market potential.
The company collaborates with artists to create original, high-quality gifts that connect emotionally with recipients, setting new standards in design and storytelling.

The Dream Factory Startup Competition was co-organised by Dream Factory and MyStartr, with longstanding support from Affin Bank.
The judging panel, comprising business leaders and experts, included Loh Wei Hoong, Vistage Business Coach; Angus Tan Su Siang, Head of Group Direct Sales Channel, Affin Bank Berhad; Ng Sai Kit, CEO of Captii Ventures; Lee Yon Onn, Founder of GrandPine Capital; Serm Teck Choon, Co-founder of Antsomi; and Ng Wan Peng, Director of Digital Penang.
