Malaysia’s Top Scorer Muhammad Azrai Aizad Unfazed by Australian Team’s Arrival
Kuala Lumpur, December 1 – Muhammad Azrai Aizad Abu Kamal, the top scorer of the Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) this season, is not intimidated by the arrival of the Australian Territory Stingers, who will make their debut in the MHL next season.
The Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) striker said he does not want to focus on the opposition, instead, he will give more attention to his team to defend the MHL title.
"I have never faced the Territory Stingers before and I don’t know their players, but I believe TNB has many good players," he said in an interview after the launch of Mizuno’s ambassadors at a hotel here today.
"My focus and the team’s focus now is to help TNB achieve their targets and hope to do as well as we did before," he added.
At the launch, Mizuno also announced nine national athletes, including Muhammad Azrai Aizad, Shello Silverous, as ambassadors.
The athletes are Ahmad Luth Hamizan (olympic sports), Nicholas Fung (golf), Shaqeem Eiman Shahyar (badminton), and four national football players – Daniel Ting, Dominic Tan, Afiq Fazail, Feroz Baharudin, Shahrul Nizam Ros Hasni, and Azam Azmi Murad.
