Robbery Gone Wrong
In a daring daylight robbery, two men posing as police officers stole a 40-year-old Indonesian woman’s mobile phone and fled the scene after she phoned the Kepong police station. The incident occurred at 11pm last Saturday at the woman’s home in Kepong.
Sentul Police Chief Ahmad Sukarno Zahari revealed that the suspects, aged 42 and 55, called at the woman’s residence, introducing themselves as police officers conducting an inspection. However, the victim became suspicious and contacted the Kepong police station, prompting the suspects to grab her mobile phone and flee.

Police later arrested the two suspects, one of whom was employed as a security guard, while the other was unemployed. During the investigation, police seized a CZ 75 pistol, which was found to belong to a security company and was believed to have been used for extortion.
