PKR Youth Chief to Contest for Central Leadership Council Seat in May
PKR Youth chief Adam Adli Abdul Halim has confirmed that he will be contesting for a central leadership council seat in the upcoming party elections in May. The Deputy Youth and Sports Minister made the announcement at the launch of the Santuni MADANI programme at Kampung Baru Penaga in Kepala Batas.
In his statement, Adam Adli expressed that it would be unfair for him to be in the country’s administration and not play an active role in the party’s leadership. He emphasized the importance of being involved in the party’s decision-making process, saying, "It wouldn’t be fair if I’m in the country’s administration and not play an active role in the party’s leadership."
The elections for the division level will take place from April 11 to 20, while the elections for the central leadership will be held on May 24. Adam Adli expressed hope that the elections would be conducted fairly and peacefully without any untoward incidents.
