Introducing Airbnb Co-Host Network: Streamlining Property Management for Hosts

Convenience for Hosts with Tight Schedules

Airbnb has made it easier for hosts to make money from their homes with its newly introduced Co-Host Network, a convenient way for one host to find other local hosts to manage their Airbnb. For hosts with tight schedules or strict time constraints, the new feature in the app is a godsend.

Personalized Support for Each Host’s Needs

Available from October 17, the Co-Host Network will provide personalized support based on each host’s hosting needs, from listing setup to managing bookings and communicating with guests.

How it Works

The way the feature will work is by connecting one host to a co-host from a pool of highly experienced and highly-rated hosts. This pool of hosts has an average rating of 4.86, with 73% being Superhosts and 84% being co-hosts who help manage Guest Favourite homes, some of the highest quality homes on Airbnb.

Finding a Co-Host

The pool of co-hosts is extensive, with over 10,000 co-hosts across 10 countries. Finding a co-host is easy and streamlined thanks to Airbnb’s ranking algorithm, which recommends co-hosts based on over 80 factors and is mediated in the app itself.

Collaboration and Payout Sharing

Once a host finds a co-host and hires them, the app allows both parties to easily collaborate together through features such as direct messaging, calendar access, and payout sharing.

Additional Upgrades for Hosts and Guests

The app has undergone over 50 upgrades, making it more personal for all users. These upgrades include recommended destinations, suggested search filters, and personalized listing highlights based on past trips and search history.

Revamped Checkout Process

The app’s revamped checkout process offers more local payment options, with users able to access over two dozen payment methods worldwide, including Vipps in Norway, Mobile Pay in Denmark, and MoMo in Vietnam.

Conclusion

The launch of the Co-Host Network is a significant step forward in streamlining property management for Airbnb hosts. With its ability to connect hosts with experienced co-hosts and provide a range of upgraded features, it is an exciting development for those looking to monetize their properties.
