Awtar Singh has raised concerns over what he claims to be selective action by DAP leaders. He questioned why YB Thulsi Manogaran, the Buntong assemblywoman, along with several DAP members, filed a police report against a corn seller over alleged racial discrimination but remained silent when the same language was used by PMX Anwar Ibrahim and former Prime Minister Mahathir.
Singh accused DAP of hypocrisy, stating that in 2018, when their government supported Mahathir, they ignored his remarks. He sarcastically labeled DAP as the “Drama Action Party” and challenged them to file a police report against PMX Anwar Ibrahim as well if they were truly committed to justice.
