Police Investigation Underway After Discovery of Murdered Foreign National’s Body

Police discovered the body of a man believed to be a foreign national, suspected to have been murdered, after stopping a car in Telok Panglima Garang near Shah Alam three days ago (December 3).
Kuala Langat District Police Chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi stated that police received information about the discovery at approximately 5.08 am from policemen conducting patrols in the area. The police were alerted about a suspicious vehicle and a possible crime scene.
Initial Investigation and Findings
The police investigation revealed that the officers stopped a car driven by a male foreign national accompanied by another foreign national, aged between 17 and 22 years. During the routine stop, the police observed that the car had suspicious behavior, which prompted further inspection.
The inspection of the vehicle revealed the body of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, in the car’s trunk with several injuries on his body. A medical officer from Telok Panglima Garang Health Clinic later confirmed the death.
Identification of Suspects and Detention
The police investigation identified the suspects as two plantation workers, who are also foreign nationals. Supt Mohd Akmal added that both suspects were remanded for seven days until December 14 to assist investigations.
The remand order allows the police to interrogate the suspects further and gather more information about the crime. The police are working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the murder and identify the motive.
