17 DEC 2024: A Chinese woman, Yang Yahong, 34, who works as a restaurant waitress, has been charged with the murder of her colleague, Zhang Wei, 49, also a Chinese national. The incident occurred at a restaurant in a shopping mall near Cheras at around 4:30 PM on November 29.
The charge was read to the accused in Mandarin in front of Judge Ili Marisqa Khalizan. However, no plea was recorded from the accused at this time.
