Dato G Kumaar Aamaan Appoints Sathiaseelan as Deputy President of PERKESA

IPOH, February 15 – The Malaysian Recycling Inspection Association (PERKESA) has announced the appointment of Sathiaseelan A/L Arumugam as its new Deputy President. The appointment was made by PERKESA President, Dato G Kumaar Aamaan, during an official meeting in Ipoh, Perak.

Sathiaseelan, who has been serving as PERKESA’s Perak State Chief for over five years, is well known for his charitable contributions, actively supporting schools and engaging in welfare initiatives regardless of race or background.

In his speech, Dato G Kumaar Aamaan expressed confidence that under Sathiaseelan’s leadership, PERKESA will reach new heights and bring significant improvements to the recycling industry in Malaysia.

The appointment received overwhelming support from PERKESA members in Perak, including Encik Mani, John, Bala, Ragu, Saravanan, Navin (from Selangor), and Rejen. They were delighted that the PERKESA President had given an opportunity for a leader from Perak to hold such an important position in the association.

The appointment of Sathiaseelan as Deputy President of PERKESA has been well received by many members of the association, who believe he will bring positive changes to the recycling industry.

Immediate Actions by the Deputy President

Meanwhile, Sathiaseelan has announced that in the coming weeks, he will meet with the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and all State Police Chiefs to address the challenges faced by scrap traders in Malaysia.

Additionally, he plans to hold a meeting with the Minister of Home Affairs, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, to discuss the shortage of foreign workers in the recycling industry. According to him, this labor shortage has significantly impacted recycling businesses, and an immediate solution is necessary to sustain the industry.

Concluding his speech, Sathiaseelan expressed his gratitude to Dato G Kumaar Aamaan for his trust and for giving him the opportunity to elevate PERKESA to greater heights.
