KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 – Ottrangknews Chief Editor and social activist, Dato G Kumaar Aamaan, has expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Federal Territories Minister, Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, in resolving the relocation issue of Dewi Sri Pathrakaliamman Temple in a fair and harmonious manner.
He acknowledged Dr. Zaliha’s wise approach in ensuring that the rights and interests of all parties were safeguarded, while also thanking Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for continuously championing racial unity in Malaysia.
Dato G Kumaar Aamaan also extended his gratitude to MIC President, Tan Sri Vickneswaran, MIC Deputy President, Dato Sri M. Saravanan, Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Dato R. According to him, the relocation of the temple to a new 4,000-square-foot site, which is part of Lot PT 95, Section 40, Mukim Bandar Kuala Lumpur, is a fair decision that reflects unity and mutual respect between religious communities.
> “This decision demonstrates the harmony within Malaysian society, where unity and tolerance are always prioritized. I also hope that if there are any misunderstandings, they can be resolved amicably, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, which calls for patience and forgiveness,” he stated.
Dato G Kumaar Aamaan also expressed his gratitude to Jakel for covering the cost of the temple relocation and to all media outlets that played a positive role in ensuring justice for both sides.
With the official resolution of this matter, he hopes that the people of Malaysia will continue to uphold the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and religious harmony.
