Dato’ G Kumaar Aamaan Challenges Penang Chief Minister to Resign if He Fails to Resolve the Bridge Tragedy Issue

Must Read

GEORGE TOWN – The recurring tragedies on the Penang Bridge continue to claim the lives of Malaysians. Recently, a 48-year-old man from Bayan Lepas was found drowned after jumping from Kilometer 5.5 of the Penang Bridge. This incident once again raises a critical question: why have the authorities failed to take drastic measures to address this problem?

Northeast District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad, confirmed that the man’s body was discovered near the bridge pillar by the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) at around 9:05 AM, after more than 30 hours of search and rescue operations.

Challenge to Chow Kon Yeow

Chow Kon Yeow, a politician, lawyer, and journalist who is also the 5th Chief Minister of Penang, should play a more active role in addressing this issue. To date, no concrete measures have been taken to prevent more Malaysians from becoming victims on this bridge.

I, Dato’ G Kumaar Aamaan, am publicly challenging Chow Kon Yeow to resign as Chief Minister of Penang if he fails to find a solution to this ongoing tragedy.

The people of Malaysia can no longer accept excuses and delays in addressing an issue that involves human lives. If Chow Kon Yeow is unable to resolve this problem, he should step down and make way for a more capable leader.

The Penang Bridge should be a symbol of progress, not a tragic site that continues to claim Malaysian lives. It is time for immediate action before more lives are lost without justice.

If there are no ideas to resolve this issue, please contact me. I am ready to provide concrete proposals to save more lives.
