KUALA LUMPUR — Dato’ G. Kumaar Aamaan, the Chief Editor of Ottrangknews and a renowned activist, has openly commended the courage and decisiveness of Tan Sri Razarudin Husain and the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (JSJN) Bukit Aman in combating drug distribution in the country.

According to Dato’ Kumaar, the actions taken by the Acting Director of JSJN Bukit Aman, Deputy Commissioner Mat Zani @ Mohd Salahuddin Che Ali, who confirmed that the days of drug trafficking being confined to abandoned premises and remote areas are over, demonstrate Malaysia’s increasing seriousness in eradicating drug syndicates hiding in entertainment hubs such as nightclubs.

“This is not just an ordinary operation. This is a revolutionary step to save our youth from an invisible enemy that threatens the future of our nation!” asserted Dato’ Kumaar.

He continued, “With the leadership of Tan Sri Razarudin and the determination of JSJN, Malaysia will be rid of the drug menace that has long been ruining our future generations.”

Dato’ Kumaar also called on Malaysians to give full support to the authorities and continue to cooperate in the fight against drug distribution, so that the country can become a safer place for future generations.

“This collaboration is not only the police’s responsibility, but it is a collective responsibility for all of us. Without the support of the people, this effort will not succeed!” he added.

Nightlife Industry Supports PDRM’s Actions

The support for JSJN’s actions has also been warmly received by nightclub owners and the entertainment industry. The Chief Executive Officer of TREC Kuala Lumpur, Kelvin Lam, expressed that nightclub operators are always ready to work hand in hand with the police to combat drugs.

“We fully support PDRM’s efforts to ensure our entertainment venues are free from criminal activities like drug trafficking. We will work closely with the authorities to ensure public safety,” said Kelvin Lam.

The Advisor of the Association of Live Event Organisers (ALIFE), Rizal Kamal, also voiced full support for the authorities’ actions. According to Rizal, they do not want nightclubs to become breeding grounds for illegal activities and want to ensure that patrons can enjoy their nights out without the fear of drug abuse.

“Tough action against drug distribution is the right move. The industry will only thrive when the public feels safe and protected,” Rizal stated.

Police Focus on Nightclubs in the Fight Against Drug Distribution

Meanwhile, the police have assured the public that they will not compromise with any party involved in drug trafficking activities. The Acting Director of JSJN Bukit Aman, Deputy Commissioner Mat Zani @ Mohd Salahuddin Che Ali, stated that the authorities are strategizing the best course of action to crack down on drug syndicates currently operating in certain nightclubs.

“We are focusing on nightclubs that have been identified as being involved in the distribution of illegal substances such as methamphetamine, ecstasy, ketamine, heroin, and marijuana,” he said.

Mat Zani also urged the public with any information on these illicit activities to contact the JSJN hotline at 012-2087222.

Conclusion

With the close collaboration between law enforcement, nightclub owners, and the public, Malaysia can become a nation free from the threat of drugs. “Together, we can build a safe, clean Malaysia free from the cancer of narcotics,” concluded Dato’ G. Kumaar Aamaan, with a resolute and passionate statement.
