Kuala Lumpur, February 15 – Activist and Chief Editor of Ottrangknews, Dato G Kumaar Aamaan, has voiced his concerns about the issue of poverty being used as a political tool. He emphasized that the public should no longer be deceived by racial rhetoric while real issues remain unsolved.
> “How much longer must the people listen to empty promises? Today, politicians talk about Malay poverty, tomorrow about Indian struggles, the next day about small Chinese traders—but where are the real solutions?” said Dato G Kumaar Aamaan.
He also criticized leaders who exploit racial sentiments to gain political support while living in luxury themselves.
> “They claim to fight for the people, yet their assets are worth hundreds of millions! If they truly want to help, why don’t they start with themselves? Sell part of their wealth and help those in need,” he asserted.
Focus on Policies, Not Propaganda
Dato G Kumaar Aamaan stressed that long-term solutions must be the priority.
Quality education for all communities without discrimination.
Effective entrepreneurship training for low-income groups.
Job opportunities and economic support regardless of race.
Transparency in aid distribution to prevent misuse.
> “The people are tired of political drama. All they want is a better life. It’s time to stop playing the race card and focus on building a future together,” he said.
He urged the public to stop being influenced by leaders who only stir emotions without bringing real change.
