Alor Gajah police chief Ashari Abu Samah has revealed that the incident was caused by a detached lorry tyre, which came dislodged and landed in the middle lane. The tour bus, carrying 27 passengers, then struck the detached tyre, causing the driver to lose control and swerve into the opposite lane.
