Businessman Accused of Criminally Intimidating a Woman to Withdraw Police Report Filed Against GISBH

A businessman, Riza Makar, linked to Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISBH), is facing a charge for criminally intimidating a woman, Siti Nur Dalila Diyana Ismail, 25. The 39-year-old pleaded not guilty to the offence on September 18, which is punishable with imprisonment for up to two years, or a fine, or both, upon conviction.

The Allegation

According to the prosecution, Riza threatened Siti Nur Dalila at the car park of the Galeria retail complex in Presint 4, Putrajaya, at around 10pm on September 9. Riza is also said to have told Siti Nur Dalila that he knew where she lived with her husband and family.

Legal Proceedings
