KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 — An Indian victim caught in the illegal Mobility Beyond Imagination (MBI) investment scandal has contacted Ottrangknews and sought assistance from Dato G Kumaar Aamaan in India to pursue justice.

The victim, representing a large group of Indian investors, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, commending his swift and extraordinary action in uncovering the scandal, which has led to the seizure of assets worth RM3.17 billion.

According to the victim, thousands of investors from India, many of whom are from poor and middle-income backgrounds, had invested millions of ringgit after being lured by Malaysian Indian individuals who promoted the MBI investment scheme as a lucrative opportunity. Now, these victims are left waiting in tears, holding on to the hope that the police investigation will proceed smoothly and eventually allow them to recover their lost investments.

“We are deeply grateful to Tan Sri Razarudin and his team. Their hard work in exposing this syndicate is truly appreciated. Many of us lost everything because we believed in the sweet promises of this investment. Our only hope now lies with the Malaysian authorities to help restore our fate,” the victim told Ottrangknews.

It is reported that police have arrested eight individuals, including four who hold the title of Datuk, during nationwide raids under Ops Northern Star. Authorities have also frozen 638 bank and share accounts worth over RM1.16 billion, seized 35 luxury properties valued at over RM2 billion, along with vehicles, luxury watches, and cash in multiple currencies.

Previously, MBI founder Tedy Teow was extradited from Thailand to China to assist in investigations involving victims from that country. Now, Indian victims are stepping forward in their quest for justice.

The affected Indian investors are hopeful that, with the massive seizures carried out by Malaysian police, they will have a chance to recover part or even all of their investments, which had been buried in this fraudulent scheme.

Ottrangknews will continue to monitor the developments of this case closely.
