Super League Match Updates: KDA FC Beats Kelantan FC, Negeri Sembilan Wins First Home Match
Kuala Lumpur, January 10 (Bernama) – Kedah Darul Aman (KDA) FC emerged victorious in tonight’s Super League match against Kelantan Darul Na’im FC with a 1-0 win at the Darul Aman Stadium.
The win propelled KDA FC to sixth in the league, amassing 20 points, while Kelantan FC remained at the bottom of the table with 7 points.
KDA FC scored the lone goal of the match in the 16th minute when Mohd Fayadh Zulkifli Amin unleashed a powerful shot that Kelantan FC goalkeeper Wan Mohamad Syazmin Wan Mohamad Ruzaimi was unable to save.
Kelantan FC attempted to equalize in the first half but failed, and KDA FC’s substitutions in the second half disrupted Kelantan’s defense, allowing the score to remain 1-0 in favor of the home team when the final whistle blew.
Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan FC secured their first home win by defeating Sri Pahang FC 2-1 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan.
The home team had to endure a shocking own goal in the eighth minute when Aliyu Audu Abu Bakar headed the ball into his own net while attempting to stop a cross by Sri Pahang’s Kpah Sherman.
However, Negeri Sembilan FC rallied and equalized in the last minute of the first half through Hein Htet Aung’s goal. Selvan Anbualagan scored a brilliant goal in the 59th minute to secure the win for Negeri Sembilan FC.
