Know India Programme

Randhir Jaiswal, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs’ official spokesperson, highlighted the importance of the Know India Programme (KIP) for the Indian diaspora. The KIP initiative aims to provide an opportunity for Indian diaspora journalists to learn about the country’s culture, customs, and traditions.

"We have learnt a great deal from each other, sharing knowledge and best practices. Ultimately, it’s about building a stronger, united family. We believe in the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – that the world is one family – and we are all working towards that common goal," Jaiswal said.

Malaysian Participation in KIP

A total of 27 Indian diaspora journalists from 11 countries, including Malaysia, are participating in the 79th edition of the KIP. The programme is designed to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between India and the international community.
