JOHOR BAHRU: A man was shot dead by a motorcyclist in front of a restaurant on Jalan Setia 3/2, Taman Setia Indah, earlier today.
The incident occurred at around 12 noon when the victim, who had just finished lunch, was outside the restaurant.
According to witnesses, a man on a red motorcycle arrived at the scene and fired several shots at the victim before fleeing.
Johor Bahru Selatan District Police Chief, Raub Selamat, confirmed the incident when contacted.
He stated that the police are conducting further investigations and will release an official statement regarding the case.
Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
