Giant-Slaying Streak Continues
PETALING JAYA: Surprise Malaysian semi-finalists Hoo Pang Ron-Cheng Su Yin notched another upset in the China Masters today by defeating world No 7 Wang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet to march into the mixed doubles final.

Unbeaten Run
Pang Ron-Su Yin had ousted China’s world No 3 Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin in straight games in the second round to qualify for the quarter-finals. Yesterday, they beat Taiwan’s Chen Cheng Kuan-His Yin Hui, also in straight games, to enter the semi-finals.

However, a tough final awaits the Malaysians as they will play Chinese top seeds Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping, who ousted Malaysia’s Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei in the other semi-final this morning.
