MINA (Saudi Arabia), June 7 (Bernama-SPA) — Pilgrims hosted under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Programme for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation have praised Saudi Arabia’s generosity, its role in promoting Islamic values, and the efficient organisation of this year’s Hajj, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Dr Abdul Sattar Khan, an imam and preacher from Sri Lanka, commended the efforts of Saudi security personnel in facilitating smooth and orderly movement across the holy sites.

“Their presence and guidance made our journey easier and more comfortable. I thank the leadership and people of the Kingdom and pray for its continued safety and prosperity,” he said.

Indonesian pilgrim Rafli Ghani also expressed appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for hosting him under the programme, describing it as a valuable initiative that strengthens unity among Muslims worldwide.

“The programme is widely appreciated by Muslims across the globe. It reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving Islam and bringing people together,” he said.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Programme, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, hosted 2,443 male and female pilgrims from 100 countries during the 1446 Hajj season.

Pilgrims also acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to promote moderation and tolerance, including the construction of mosques, the distribution of Qurans in multiple languages, and outreach to Muslim communities around the world.
