National Men’s Doubles Player Yap Roy King Set to Make Malaysia Open Debut
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31 (Bernama) – National men’s doubles player Yap Roy King is excited to make his debut at the Malaysia Open with his partner Wan Muhammad Arif Wan Junaidi.

Roy King said he is looking forward to playing before his own fans, describing it as a boost of motivation for himself and his partner to perform better.
"We will feel very happy because it is starting next week (the Malaysian Open). Even now we have started to gain momentum for this tournament," he said.

"We will just fight because the Malaysian Open is the same as the previous tournament," he said.

The best achievement of the world’s 23rd ranked doubles team is finishing as runner-up at the Spanish Masters (Super 300) and reaching the semi-finals of the Malaysian Masters (750).
