Rude Sand Lorry Drivers! JPJ Proves Integrity and Trustworthiness, Director-General Urged to Immediately Recognise and Promote Involved Officers

Must Read

The outrageous actions of two lorry drivers and a company owner who threatened and obstructed officers from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) during their duties in Putrajaya recently have drawn strong public outrage. Such arrogant and gangster-like behaviour must no longer be tolerated in this country.

Despite facing intimidation, safety threats, and sabotage of enforcement vehicles, the JPJ officers stood firm in upholding the law, refusing to yield to any form of pressure or corruption. Their extraordinary courage was evident when they stayed overnight at the scene for three consecutive days to ensure the enforcement process was completed without compromise.

In light of this, the JPJ Director-General must urgently step forward to officially recognise the involved officers. They not only deserve public praise but should also be considered for immediate promotions as a reward for their bravery, honesty, and unwavering commitment to duty.

The public demands that JPJ continue to combat the rogue culture among sand lorry operators, who have become increasingly bold in challenging the rule of law. At the same time, the integrity shown by these officers must be upheld as a national example of excellence in public service.

Failure to act firmly would only encourage more incidents of this nature, endangering road safety and eroding public trust in enforcement agencies. It is the responsibility of leadership at the highest level to ensure that officers who display courage, sincerity, and strong principles are duly honoured and supported.

Enough is enough — the nation must stand behind our true heroes!
