Sabah FC Secures Third Consecutive Win in Super League
Match Report
Kota Kinabalu, October 29 – Sabah FC made it three wins in a row in the Super League, convincingly defeating Kedah Darul Aman (KDA) FC 5-2 at the Likas Stadium in front of a capacity crowd of 5,006.
The home team started off strongly, with a second-minute penalty goal by Saddil Ramdani, who converted a spot-kick after Gabriel Peres was fouled by Mohd Rizal Ghazali. However, KDA FC managed to equalize through a header by José Cleylton in the 28th minute.
The match was a seesaw battle, with each team trading goals. João Pedro scored in the 48th minute, only for KDA FC to equalize again through a goal by Milos Gordic in the 68th minute, which was confirmed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
But Sabah did not give up, and João Pedro scored his second goal of the match in the 73rd minute, a brilliant lob that beat the offside trap set by KDA FC’s defense. S Kumaahran added to the lead in the 84th minute, and Gary Steven Robbat sealed the win with a fifth goal in injury time (90+3′).

The win keeps Sabah in third place with 23 points from 13 matches, just three points behind second-placed Selangor FC. Johor Darul Ta’zim tops the table with 34 points. KDA FC, on the other hand, remains at the bottom of the table with 13 points.
