Asian Sepaktakraw Federation Confirms Events for 33rd SEA Games
The Asian Sepaktakraw Federation (ASTAF) has confirmed that the team regu, regu, quadrant, hoop, and chinlone (linking) events will be featured at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand from December 9 to 20, 2025.

ASTAF president Datuk Abdul Halim Kader announced that the events were approved at the SEA Games Federation Council Meeting on October 25. Abdul Halim expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Thailand National Olympic Committee (NOC), led by its president, General Prawit Wongsuwan, as well as the Thailand SEA Games Federation Council and the SEA Games Federation Office, led by its chief executive officer Chaiyapak Siriwat.

Abdul Halim explained that the participating countries can choose from four event categories. Group A (Open Category) includes the men’s and women’s team regu events. Group B allows countries to choose two out of three events: regu, quadrant, and hoop for both men and women.
