BATU GAJAH, 19 December – A sum of RM80,000 has been allocated from the Batu Gajah Member of Parliament’s Rakyat-Friendly Project Fund for the upgrade of the Subramaniar Temple Dining Hall in Tronoh. The newly upgraded hall is now available for the local community to organize various religious and social programs.

According to YB V. Sivakumar, this project is not only aimed at improving infrastructure but also at strengthening social bonds and respecting local culture. “This dining hall is not just a place for meals, but also a space for various activities. In addition to religious programs, we hope it will become a center for community development programs to help the local Indian community advance,” he said.

He also added that this initiative provides added value to the community by offering a multi-purpose space for activities such as educational workshops, skill classes, and community meetings. “This is one way to ensure the community in this area continues to progress and develop, in line with the Malaysia Madani principles,” he explained.

This effort is part of the Madani government’s commitment to openness and collaboration to meet the needs of all parties. The allocated funds aim to ensure more equitable and inclusive development for the entire community, regardless of background.

“The main challenge is ensuring that every cent entrusted is used wisely. Careful planning is essential so that every project maximizes benefits to the community,” said YB Sivakumar.

The Subramaniar Temple Committee also expressed their appreciation to YB V. Sivakumar for his concern. They stated that this project not only meets the community’s basic needs but also demonstrates the commitment of a leader to help the people.

At the end of the meeting, YB V. Sivakumar mentioned that this project is an example of inclusive assistance aimed at building a harmonious, progressive, and dignified society, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani.
