KUALA LUMPUR – Tengku Zafrul Aziz’s political future appears to be hanging by a thread as speculation intensifies over his potential defection from UMNO to PKR. Sources suggest that his departure from UMNO is imminent, with expectations that he will leave before the end of his Senate term.
While he is reportedly considering a brief hiatus from politics, PKR is said to be pushing for his immediate entry into the party, possibly positioning him for a key role in upcoming internal elections. His move is seen as a major shift that could redefine his political trajectory but also label him a betrayer among UMNO loyalists.
