You don’t even need a hand mixer or any other fancy gadget – just a little elbow grease is enough to whip a batch of tasty treats. They’re best enjoyed on movie nights in front of the telly!

Ingredients

* 250g cornflakes, half-crushed
* 100g sliced almonds
* 50g walnuts, half-crushed
* 100ml honey
* 50g butter, melted
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Method

1. In a bowl, pour in the cornflakes, almonds and walnuts. Mix well.
2. Place a medium-sized pot on medium heat.
3. When the pot is hot, add the butter, honey and brown sugar and stir gently until all the sugar is dissolved.
4. Pour this caramel into the bowl of cornflakes and nuts. Stir gently until everything is combined.
5. In a baking tin, pour out the mixture and level it with a spoon. Let it cool for 15 minutes in the fridge.
6. Cut into bite-sized squares and enjoy!
