UMNO Youth: The Malay Lion Rises, Demands Justice Without Compromise

Must Read

SHAH ALAM – UMNO Youth Chief, Datuk Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh, has once again demonstrated his courage and firmness in defending the dignity and harmony of the nation by calling for strict legal action against individuals who insult any ethnic group in Malaysia.

He strongly asserted that racial insults should not simply end with an apology. Instead, legal enforcement is necessary to prevent such incidents from recurring.

“If not, this culture of making offensive statements first and apologizing later will become rampant. It will be too easy for these individuals to get away with it,” he emphasized in a Facebook post on Monday.

His statement follows an incident where a corn seller and his wife were arrested by the police in connection with a racially insensitive notice in Kota Warisan, Sepang, Selangor. A photo of the controversial sign sparked outrage among netizens and was widely condemned by various groups.

The corn seller, Abdul Aziz Musa, later apologized, insisting that he had no intention of insulting any ethnic group. However, UMNO Youth believes that an apology alone is not sufficient and that legal action must be taken to serve as a deterrent.

Commenting on the issue, Ottrangknews Chief Editor, Dato G Kumaar Aamaan, expressed his respect for the bravery of UMNO Youth in speaking out fearlessly.

“I salute the courage of the UMNO Youth Chief, a true Malay lion who is unafraid to speak the truth. Insulting any ethnic group is unacceptable and must be met with legal consequences,” he said.

Dato G Kumaar Aamaan also emphasized his respect for all ethnic groups and rejected any form of racial discrimination.

Meanwhile, Minister of National Unity, Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, stressed that Malaysians must always strive to maintain harmony by ensuring that words and actions do not incite tension in the multi-ethnic society.

Malaysia, as a multicultural nation, must be protected from any form of provocation or division. UMNO Youth’s firm stance on this issue reflects their commitment to safeguarding national unity and ensuring justice is upheld without compromise.
